@Miss__Cairns We are an Academy Trust working on the use of oracy to embed this within our curriculum. We are looking at the relationship between oracy and it's impact on writing. Have a look at Oracy21.

Hey #EdUTwitter I lead a debating club in school and want to improve oracy in the pupils. Does anyone know who has worked on this or have done anything on oracy in children aged 11-18? Any advice would be appreciated.

@kennygfrederick I did a master's part time through the open university as a young teacher. It was transformational for me. I realised some very powerful lessons by drawing upon and reflecting upon my own teaching.

I did 2 Masters degrees - one as a Deputy Head & one when I was head - both invaluable in helping me shape my vision & values. The workload was very heavy but chose to write about things I was doing & found books with clear chapters & summaries!! I have recently completed a PhD!
