If the plane landed on time I had 1 r to make last bus at 12am. Plane landed 15 mins late, no1 could disembark as paramedics came on for a passenger. There were 3 of us awaiting wheelchairs. Got taken off in wheelchair transporter. Got wheelchair, got bag, got bus. 1min to spare

@deborah_lydon Ah thanks. I know how lucky I am that there is a leg still there at all & I know how bad it was compared to now so usually I don’t give a shit what it looks like but seeing it in a mirror as to how others see it (especially at the pool) may have caught me offguard on a bad day.

I was pleased with how I thought my knee scars had faded until in a shop changing room with a full length mirror last week & I found myself shedding a few secret tears after as its still (& will always be) a mess. Yday a friend saw it & said it was amazing how well it has healed
