How do people feel about being asked to pay ($4.99/month) to watch @usopengolf coverage on Peacock? And to jump between 4 different channels to enjoy opening tee shot to final putt coverage?

So, if you want to watch all the U.S. Open coverage on Thursday, you gotta start on Golf Channel, switch to Peacock, then to USA, then to NBC (or back to Peacock), then back to USA, then back to Peacock. This is somehow not a parody.

@rennaestubbs Tennis Channel and ESPN but increasingly difficult bc they offload matches to TV ally’s and ESPN Plus as if that’s a good thing. NBC/Peacock also a mess. Just want to dvr matches I can’t watch live. Already pay $$$ to cable co and don’t want to pay even more

Really appreciating everyone getting back to me on how you watch tennis. I just constantly see peoples frustrations on how to watch tennis, so i am just trying to get those in the suites to figure it out for us all.

Discuss: a) a sport that has its prime contest end at 2:00 a.m. resists serious treatment. or b) a sport that still struggles to shed its stodgy image - however inaccurate - benefits from a 2:00 a.m. closing time.

@christophclarey ESPN coverage was just an advertisement to purchase ESPN+. Awful that so few matches were on ESPN. Horrible coverage.

ESPN signs nine-year agreement to continue broadcasting the Australian Open. Perhaps they can convince the Aussies to get some of the big matches at the end of the tournament back in a time slot that is not the middle of the night in North America espnpressroom.com/us/press-relea…
