Headline inflation is now 2%. But since it was last 2% in July 2021 the price of things we buy has risen by 20% and pay by around 18%. And Universal credit main rate has fallen by 4% (it was boosted during Covid). No wonder we don't feel better off - we're not.
It's good and important to have the BBC and other British media reporting about the Far Right making gains in Europe. Yet when the same thing happens at home, it gets normalised. It is time to look at #Farage in the same way. Stop inviting him as a political entertainer. Still.
