@JakeWolki We are starting a dexter herd - a rare Irish breed of smaller cattle. I would love some pigs but that won’t happen. I would also love to get more hedgehogs on our farm.

If you could raise ANY species and breed of animal on your farm - without market popularity affecting your viability - what would you raise and why?

@DaniDarkSkies Definitely less than other years but we have butterflies, lots of bees, daddy long legs, and today I found ladybirds in fallow ground.

WHERE ARE THE BUTTERFLIES? THE BEES? THE CRICKETS? THE CATERPILLARS? I’ve seen two caterpillars since March. The only butterflies have been a smattering Common Blues. I’ve not even had a spider in the house. Is everyone else finding the same?

@philipnolan1 @greenparty_ie @DublinAirport Why? There are regional airports that are totally under utilised. Shannon is a dream to fly from if you can get a flight to where you want to go. Park the car, drop your bag, security and get a coffee in less than 15 minutes. Dublin airport is hell.

The new leader of the @greenparty_ie, whoever that is, must throw her or his weight fully behind the lifting of the 32million passenger cap at @DublinAirport.

@DdDorandermot Oaks in our silage field. Counted at least 40 - all dropped by jays last year. Similar numbers in the lawn too. Trying to dig them up before the next cut.

Today’s maths exam has pushed me to the precipice of despair ( many 1st year NatSci’s are 😭) & I can’t even properly despair as I have another exam tomorrow, yep, a Saturday exam. Give me strength please - or bird content - as even the best noodles in Cam didn’t work 😩
