There’s this guy that likes my cousin. Bro has been chasing her for over a year now, and I’m not even exaggerating when I say the guy is serious serious. He sends her lunch at work every day. He even paid her rent earlier this year. At some point, we all started begging her to just give him a chance because from everything we can see, the guy genuinely likes her. But my cousin refused. Her reason was that she’s a bit taller than him and, according to her, he doesn’t know how to dress well. Yesterday was her birthday, and she was lowkey expecting him to shut down Lagos for her. Omo, uncle posted engagement pictures on his status. He proposed to someone else 😭 Now my cousin has been crying since morning, saying she’s starting to develop feelings for him and that he should have tried harder. Women, our wahala is too much. 😂

This is pure balderdash. You clearly haven’t watched a single full match of José Mourinho at Roma, Fenerbahçe, Benfica, or Spurs, yet you’re here writing absolute rubbish about him. José has not failed in any of the jobs where he was eventually sacked. At Roma, he delivered the club’s first ever major European trophy by winning the UEFA Conference League. He then took them to the Europa League final the following season, where they were only denied by a controversial penalty shootout. That is not failure. That is history. At Fenerbahçe he finished second in his very first season. One season. Anyone who understands football knows what is happening in Turkey, especially in a league dominated by fierce corruption. At Benfica, he arrived after the season had already started, with the club struggling and almost eliminated from the Champions League group stage. Despite that, he beat Real Madrid CF and guided them into the knockout rounds. Again, that is not failure. At Spurs, he was sacked just days before a cup final. And we all know what happened next. Spurs did what Spurs do best: they lost the final. If anything, that decision only reinforced Mourinho’s value as a serial winner. People are too quick to judge based on headlines instead of actual football. Mourinho has consistently improved teams, won trophies, and restored belief wherever he has gone. This is the same rubbish you said about Antoine Semenyo when he signed for Manchester City, all based on some useless six-minute video. That tells me everything. You lot only know how to watch the so-called big teams and then pretend to be experts on managers and players you clearly do not follow. Watch the games. Study the context. Understand the circumstances. Then come and talk football. Until then, stop disrespecting one of the greatest managers the game has ever seen.
Zlatan@sports_Zlatan

Modern football is cruel to coaches who refuse to evolve. The game changes every season, pressing structures, build up patterns, player freedom, intensity and dressing room management. Coaches who survive at the top are the ones who adapt without losing their identity. That’s why managers like Pep Guardiola and Carlo Ancelotti continue to win. Pep keeps reinventing systems, changing roles and finding new solutions even after dominating football for years. Ancelotti on the other hand adapted to modern stars by giving freedom while still maintaining balance and control. They evolve, and evolution keeps elite coaches alive. But with José Mourinho, the concern is different. Since leaving Manchester United, his journey hasn’t looked convincing enough for a coach once considered untouchable. The spells at Tottenham Hotspur, AS Roma and Fenerbahçe SK have shown flashes, but not enough consistency to prove he has fully adapted to the modern game. A second spell at Real Madrid CF would be the perfect opportunity for Mourinho to prove he can evolve and still dominate at the highest level. But to succeed, he may need to abandon some of the old methods that worked a decade ago. Modern players are different. Managing talents like Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior is not simple. They can be difficult tactically because they demand freedom, but you also cannot just bench them because they are the players capable of deciding games. If Mourinho wants success, he must find solutions that maximize them instead of fighting against the reality of modern football. And Madrid fans should not get carried away too quickly. Reputation alone does not win football matches anymore. Mourinho would need time to learn, unlearn and rebuild himself tactically before competing consistently against coaches like Hansi Flick. If evolution doesn’t happen, the pressure at Madrid can turn quickly from excitement to another managerial collapse. ZLATAN ✍️
