Wexford GAA is proud to announce that our 2025 minor hurling & football squads are supporting this year’s ‘Big Splash for Little Heroes’ charity swim, in aid of @LauraLynnHouse and organised by Peter Kenny of @FrORegansCford. Donations can be made here: idonate.ie/fundraiser/big… Please put ‘Wexford GAA’ as a reference with your donation. Donations can also be made directly to players and team management. LauraLynn is the only children’s hospice in the country. Last year, they received €2.3m from the HSE, but the total cost for providing hospice care and support was €10.4m for the year. They continue to be reliant on fundraised income to cover this shortfall. All support for this event will therefore be much appreciated.

@CoachKenVick @EamonnFlanagan @CoachKenVick I tend to agree, whilst the participants here had experience using the flywheel it was still novel in comparison. It likely requires more reset/refocus time

@EamonnFlanagan @decbrowne1 Interesting. In practice I’ve often thought 15s wasn’t enough. On the other hand when it drifted past 30 sec sometimes would see a loss of “focus/drive” that seems more mental/cognitive than physiological for some. Usually lower training age/lofting skills.
