I think Kent Hughes is doing an awesome job but flaunting Dach and Newhook trades as masterclasses is hilarious. Romanov is a 24 year top pair defenseman on a playoff team and Newhook cost the 31st AND 37th overall picks.

Alexis Joseph vs Landon DuPont will be a fun conversation for the 1st overall pick 2027 NHL Draft. It's very early and anything can happen, but Joseph is a 6'5 Center with 24G 36A 60P in 54GP in the Q at 16 years old. He has the size, the hands, Hockey IQ, shot to be an elite player in the NHL for a long time. He averages 3:15 min on the PP and 1:42 min on the PK, he is over 50% on his Faceoffs.
