This entire situation is so fucking stupid and could have been avoided if they just told everyone the series will premiere as a 45 minute premiere ONA short film then it will begin airing weekly in the fall that’s literally all that they had to say when they announced production

We are planning a split‑cour release across the entire run of episodes. The next cour (2nd STAGE) will begin streaming in fall 2026 on Netflix, with one new episode released each week. Okay so we get batches with weekly episodes. Could've been a lot worse I guess, I hope the gaps between these batches won't be long. We at least get episodes weekly in some way🙏
