🙄 Americans 😂 my house is 124 years old. In it are pipes of similar age. My furniture dates from the late 1800s and some from 1950s, and a bit from 1970s. I have ornaments from the 50s… and my log burner is early 1900s. I’m struggling to think of anything modern…

@dee_ford That is a blessing that I hear not everyone is afforded. Ok I got one more attempt to flex on you, I lived in a house built in 1845 on the national register of historic places AND I had A/C. Those power bills though whew

@oldwrightsmill That’s amazing. I’m only the second owner here, and I still had gas lit lights sticking out the walls when I moved in. Most of the house was condemned so I had to strip it to brick

@dee_ford My family still has the house we built in 1904. Had to slowly convert a lot of the old tech (incinerator, steam radiator, etc) as it’s hard to find people who still do that work. But furniture? Yes! Still got that.
