I can’t quite believe I’m saying this… but this is all my real hair. A year ago it was thin, breaking, and completely reliant on extensions. I wouldn’t go anywhere without them… not even my wedding, which probably says everything. At some point I remember thinking… what is this actually doing to my hair long term? So I stripped everything back and started again. I don’t have loads of “before” photos because I was so self-conscious of how bad it had got!! I also don’t think I ever imagined it would get better… so I never thought I’d want anything to compare it to. And now… this is all mine. Which still feels slightly surreal to say. I genuinely didn’t think I’d get it back to this. If your hair is currently hanging on for dear life… there is a way back.
