Some more @midjourney 8 comparisons.
Some notes: Of the four images MJ 8 gave me, this was the only one that was "close-up". All of the MJ 7 ones were.
I also felt that all of the MJ 7 images were like the one here, in that they had more "heart" than the MJ 8 ones.
Photographically, the MJ 8 ones are excellent. But as others have commented, not a lot of "feels" yet.
But I know @midjourney is listening to people and working hard to make MJ 8 great.

I know you are working hard on MJ8.
Here is what I think is an interesting result.
Image 1 is MJ 7
Image 2 is MJ 8
Exactly the same prompt, using all of my moodboards and my profile (with the obvious difference been the --V).
I understand that MJ 7 and MJ 8 interpret --P differently, but this seems like a lot of difference.
I am not judging; the results from MJ 8 are pretty cool, but not a lot of yellow in there.

@BeanieBlossom The three things I found most challenging about this was AI's inability to:
1) Put the right amount of tension, and curve, in the string;
2) Put the kite far enough away;
3) Get the kid to look at the kite.
Those of you who successfully generated all three...well done!
