🎖️| @David_Ornstein: “There are more signings no doubt on the way. They feel there are 3-4 first-team players that are needed for them to be really competitive again. We know that wide player because of Salah’s departure and also Diaz wasn’t replaced will also be high on the agenda.”
@tunedaybabz@JamesWathland It's not, you're still missing the point. All these players are very replaceable, apart from VVD, Alisson, and maybe Isak. That means this team is nowhere near good enough to compete for major honors at home or abroad. We can't defend, and we have a very average midfield.
@deedna00@JamesWathland Let’s even assume you’re right. We have 7 more players better than them and we can’t still press in an organized manner.
Your point is still defeated I’m sorry 😭😭😭
@tunedaybabz@JamesWathland Again, those players walk into that Liverpool team at this moment in time. This team and these players are not as good as people make out, they have good qualities, but they also lack so much. Liverpool need a RB, two starting midfielders, and two wide players to fix the issues.
@deedna00@JamesWathland Senesi is left footed and more important for his passes, same role as VVD. He’s not quick too..
Kroupi is not a better 9 than Hugo. Don’t be biased.
All those statistics you mentioned are caused by the coach since last season to minimize injuries but it’s boomerang.
@tunedaybabz@JamesWathland Senesi would partner VVD, simple. Kroupi is a better No.9 than Hugo. Ekitike is better from the left. Those statistics are caused by players, they cover the least ground, they win the fewest tackles. Take away Salah's goals & Alisson's heroics, and last season would look similar.
Simeone for me as next Liverpool manager.. Would weed out all this bollocks and bring discipline and a load of hungry South Americans with some fight in them 🇦🇷
If Arsenal bottle the league, it’s because they done too much. Arteta does too much on the touchline and his preparation. Their media always overhype things and it clearly affects the players + fans. Successful teams don’t sugarcoat it.
But from a hater POV, keep doing it.
@tunedaybabz@JamesWathland Rayan is a better option than Salah, right now, Senesi would partner VVD, & Kroupi would start ahead of Hugo, because he's a natural number 9, Hugo isn't. Liverpol win less tackles than any other team in this league, United & Chelsea have a better goal differences, enough said
@deedna00@JamesWathland Senesi would bench VVD or what are you saying? 😭😭😭
I’m taking Salah over Rayan. Stop this shit. He couldn’t even last 60mins before he got tired.
Kroupi is not benching Isak nor Ekitike.
Rayan is the only arguable one here and I’ll still take Salah cos of output.
@deedna00@JamesWathland Lol
Just lol. By your analysis, those 4 players should be on Liverpool radar by now. 😂😂
The only person close is Jimenez and he’s not even so different from Frimpong
@tunedaybabz@JamesWathland Bournemouth have so many qualities this team doesn't have, like pace, power, the desire to track runners. How many Bournemouth players would walk into this Liverpool side? 4 at least.
@deedna00@JamesWathland If you just watched a properly coached Bournemouth today and believe their players are actually better than ours, then I don’t know what to say to you…😂😂😂
🚨 Arne Slot insists Liverpool do not need to sign experience this summer after losing both Robertson and Salah:
“Our model is completely clear. That is not to say we cannot make an exception because the club signed Wataru Endo and maybe Federico Chiesa was a little bit above the age we usually sign.
“I don’t think that if this club has been successful the way we are having, we are going to change our model completely after a season that has not been so great. Especially because in the 16 years they are here, they have not won the league 16 times.
“There were more seasons where results were not as expected but they have always kept the same model which I signed for, which Richard signed for and which we are all aligned for.”
Liverpool CEO Billy Hogan has written to all season ticket holders and members ahead of planned protests at Anfield tomorrow over ticket price increases.
"Liverpool Football Club fully respects the right of supporters to protest and we acknowledge those supporters who are opposed to this approach. But we would also ask one thing in the days and weeks ahead: that any protest, and any debate, is grounded in the facts - what is changing, why it is changing, and what it means in real terms."
@anfieldforge Barcola is staying, Olise isn't leaving Bayern. Wharton doesn't fix a single issue we have in midfield. Wirtz can't play in midfield in the Premier League. Van de Ven would be nice, and Frimpong is a backup at best.
I think we need seven signings this summer, minimum.
Centre-back: Even if Jacquet and Leoni come in, they’re not displacing Konate or Van Dijk. And looking at that partnership this season, we still need someone ready to properly replace Konate.
Left-back: Robertson’s leaving on a free, so that’s an obvious gap to fill.
Right-back: Frimpong and Bradley are both injury-prone, so we need a reliable option there too.
Defensive midfield (No.6): This has been needed for years, no debate.
Right wing: Salah’s going on a free and Chiesa clearly isn’t trusted, so that’s two signings needed on the right.
Left wing: Nothing convinces me Gakpo should be a nailed on starter, so we need a new left winger as well.
Seven players in, easy and honestly, that might be conservative.
Another rebuild straight after a rebuild is quite concerning, in my opinion.
What’s everyone’s thoughts?
@svpino I just don't agree, If that's the case, economies will collapse because there won't be enough users to afford the models or the software created by these companies, considering that 40 to 50% of the world's jobs will be lost within the next five years due to AI anyway.
