@hauseoffunk @Cyrain @Tillytilly567 @RolyPolyFish @LilithLovett Don’t know about US but in UK the standard for changing gender by law is a diagnosis of gender dysphoria (a medically recognised condition) to have lived two years in the gender they wish and a declaration you wish to do so for life.

@ArthurSwindel @Heccles94 In reality their ideological counterparts in Spain have created the largest growing major economy in Europe while cutting the debt to GDP ratio by raising taxes and public spending.

@Heccles94 The greens are the party of mass spending and borrowing. Who want to ignore GDP due to mass debt increase from policies and who would create a debt ridden, non investment country country with zero economic growth and mass tax rises, high unemployment and high welfare.

@CapNKind @RolyPolyFish @LilithLovett I actually didn’t I asked you to specifically refute my argument that details how they are different by picking apart the flaws you see in it.

@deej002 @RolyPolyFish @LilithLovett You asked me for the gender critical argument, which I gave. They believe gender identity is either unreal or irrelevant because presently sexism affects people's lives and it disregards the effects of discrimination, and that is dangerous to those on the receiving end of it

@CapNKind @RolyPolyFish @LilithLovett Again being transgender isn’t about assuming the sex but the gender. Trans has its own culture and identity and doesn’t co-opt female lived experience. The idea of trans racial does co-opt another culture and lived experience

@deej002 @RolyPolyFish @LilithLovett The pro trans argument is that even though sexism is real, gender identity is separate. Those with one different from their actual sex should be able to live authentically And the pro transracial argument is that even though racism is real, racial/cultural identity is separate..

@hauseoffunk @Cyrain @Tillytilly567 @RolyPolyFish @LilithLovett “Because I feel like it” is not the standard. To see trans identity like that is a gross misrepresentation. It’s an observed and accepted reality by appropriate experts that being trans is more than feelings. And again if there’s no presentable problem it’s because there isn’t

@deej002 @Cyrain @Tillytilly567 @RolyPolyFish @LilithLovett No one said they’d dress up. Is dress up the prerequisite for entrance? What’s the standard for inclusion of a trans woman that also excludes a ‘c!s’ man? You see the point. If “men” are the problem how do you keep them out when “because I feel like it” is the standard?

@CapNKind @RolyPolyFish @LilithLovett We can by all means have what we want as our aims but definitely not as our reality when it factually isn’t. What your saying disregards the effects of discrimination and that is dangerous to those on the receiving end of it

@CapNKind @RolyPolyFish @LilithLovett You’re arguing race shouldn’t matter which i agree with. But you’re simultaneously ignoring that historically and presently race affects people’s lives that’s why it’s still important presently. You got closer that time, but you are still not responding to any of my rebuttals

@hauseoffunk @Cyrain @Tillytilly567 @RolyPolyFish @LilithLovett What quickly comes to mind is the criminal behaviour exhibited more often in cís men than trans women. The ratio of SA and Rape is far higher among cìs men than trans women. So high it negates the idea that men need to dress up as women to rape them, they already can when cìs

@CapNKind @RolyPolyFish @LilithLovett Yes and their offence isn’t rational as I’ve explained. I also explained exactly how it is rationally offensive to assume another persons race but you chose not to argue that point. This entire exchange has been me laying detailed points and you responding with vague ones

@deej002 @RolyPolyFish @LilithLovett According to many biological women, trans women are every bit as offensive for all these reasons. They think it's distasteful and offensive. These views were once listened to, and now women who have them are often called bigots and are socially shamed

@CapNKind @RolyPolyFish @LilithLovett This can only be a valid point if you explain exactly why rather than say well trans was also widely rejected once. This is just the reverse logic of people who said gay marriage would lead to the legalising of grooming. I’ve explained why it’s different

@deej002 @RolyPolyFish @LilithLovett The idea that one can factually change gender is very new in mainstream thought. It was once considered ridiculous. And it's short sided to think we aren't doing the same thing all over again

@CapNKind @RolyPolyFish @LilithLovett At that point it comes down to facts, and the fact is you can’t transition to another race. It’s why even if trans people existing was rationally detrimental to others (it’s not) I’d still support people transitioning to another gender because they factually can

@CapNKind @RolyPolyFish @LilithLovett Whether factual or not I’d happily accept another persons perception of themselves as long as it’s not rationally detrimental to others. But there is a rational detriment on to others by identifying as another race.

@moduscrap @RolyPolyFish @LilithLovett Like fr if you had substance to your argument you’d critique it using reasoning from the modern day rather than how it was and who voiced it 70 years ago. Join in me in the present big guy it’s way better than when the boomers were being born.

@moduscrap @RolyPolyFish @LilithLovett Oh someone’s getting a lil heated ahaha. Sorry toots but my opinion is heavily influenced by modern day understanding of psychology, medicine and sociology rather than the muttering of a random guy about 70 years ago. Also 1 opinion doesn’t constitute a world view 👍

@moduscrap @RolyPolyFish @LilithLovett Oh yes the 1950s known across the world for being a safe haven for transgender people do you hear yourself? It wasn’t even legally recognised in that era. Your google search just demonstrated your views are 70 years out of date amongst academics and you say that with pride?

@deej002 @RolyPolyFish @LilithLovett “The definition of gender began separating from biological sex in the 1950s and 1960s” That was also one google search away, retard. The definition was changed to create fantasy world for mentally ill fags.

@moduscrap @RolyPolyFish @LilithLovett One google search away was info provided separately by NHS UK, Yale University, a medial news outlet and a dictionary that all agree gender and sex are distinct it’s just a fact. If you don’t understand that you’re genuinely not qualified to form an intellectual opinion on it

@moduscrap @RolyPolyFish @LilithLovett Gender and sex are literally not the same. As in it’s not a debate it’s just factual. And also the only argument around gender being biological whether it is linked to biology, even anti-trans academics don’t argue it’s entirely biological. Like do you know google is free?
