It’s a systematic issue and requires structural changes that pushes us to look beyond Western theories. Regardless of whether it’s performative or not I don’t care

@JeremyGinges @Nature Research in the last almost two decades shows that calls for “voluntary” increase of diversity and inclusion in psych science has not been successful. If you think only Western homogenic literature can compliment and strengthen your work then maybe that is the problem 🤷🏽‍♀️

@deema_ph That’s supporting it of course. I don’t see there is much of a difference between carrying out an act when a child’s death is the purpose, and carrying out an act with a different purpose while knowing the same child will die. There is a difference, it’s just not an important one

Progressive Israelis were recently protesting in the name of democracy. Now, while many are busy supporting the war in Gaza, Israelis who demonstrate sympathy for the children of Gaza are brought in for questioning. This is an outrage that should bring people onto the streets.
