Australia has the natural resources and potential to lead the world. One Nation has the ideas to unlock it. 1. Connect the coal fields in the east with the iron ore fields in the west with a northern rail crossing and make steel at either end. 2. Reinstate the Inland Rail but send it to Gladstone to complete a true National Rail Circuit. 3. Let farmers get on with the job to feed and clothe the world. It's about having vision for the future of this country. We have so much potential.

@GreenTyler27 Data Centres, of all faculties, do not need "constant baseload power" they all have standby diesel generators. Data Centres use the grid for cheaper power than burning diesel. And as for 100% renewables, Tasmania runs 98%+ renewables reliably, renewables are "baseload power".

People in the know must look on at what’s happening down here in Australia and laugh quite heartily. The uncomfortable reality for the “100% renewables only” crowd is that AI data centres don’t just need power, they need constant, industrial-scale baseload power with zero tolerance for outages. Modern AI data centres can consume as much electricity as an entire regional city and they need that power 24 hours a day, not just when the weather cooperates. You cannot run an AI future for Australia built on “hopefully the wind blows tomorrow.” Data centres require: - 24/7 reliability - grid stability - cooling capacity - huge continuous energy loads That’s why the net zero narrative is starting to collide with engineering reality. South Australia already has some of the world’s highest renewable penetration, yet households and businesses are still paying enormous power prices because intermittent generation requires expensive firming, storage and grid stabilisation. If Australia wants AI, advanced industry and economic competitiveness, we need serious dispatchable generation again, not slogans, subsidies and wishful thinking.

The production of Christopher Nolan received permission for 15 days of filming in Greece with a budget of 16 million euros. The Greek state gave them 6 million as a subsidy from the money of Greek taxpayers, who were never informed about the cast of the film or the distortion of the most important work in our history. The issue here is not that they received money. We Greeks would gladly have given all 16 million for Nolan to shoot a faithful Odyssey. But it should have been a film that properly represents us Greeks, Hellenism and stays true to the values and writings of Homer. Not so we Greeks could pay for a Black Helen and Clytemnestra, a Batman-like Agamemnon, a trans Achilles or Elpenor (a woman playing a male role), a Black Athena, and a script based on the worst possible "translation" that exists. In short, Nolan disrespected all Greeks, while the Greek people are now officially in the crosshairs of racism and the falsification of their history and culture. Woke Hollywood must die.

SPACEXAI: Over the last three months, under the radar, xAI has installed a solar farm directly to the west of Colossus 1 in Memphis. It sits on roughly 88 acres on a 136-acre vacant lot owned by the developer that also owns the Colossus property. It produces about 30 MWs of electricity, about 10% of the data center’s power consumption. This is not the Larger 100 MW solar farm they plan to build a bit further south on ~552 acres. xAI is allowing a retiring farmer to complete one final corn harvest before solar construction begins there.

Congratulations people of Farrer. Your new MP is 78 years old. Attempted Labor preselection a few years ago and will definitely quit One Nation before the 2028 election. He will be on the cross benches ASAP! Sucked in fools.

One of the coolest stories I heard from David Reich about the interaction between genetics and human culture: The caste system was powerful enough to essentially 'freeze' Indian genetics for thousands of years, almost completely stopping the process of genetic mixture.

QUESTION? 🤔 I was just watching a segment from 60 minutes in the United States. The interviewee said that in the industrialised world statistically “sex has collapsed”. Another US survey found that 1/3 of American men & 1/5 of American women have not had sex in the past 12 months! Is this the same story in Australia? What the hell is going on? I have been out of the dating market for 21 years. I have no idea what is going on. What insights can you provide?
