Do you know what happens when we have to cut the cost of R&D to more than 80%? Our own flight computer! Inspired from the VST104 Board Sierra, it is custom designed for the SABHASAT. Bringing down the cost for a OBC from a 1000 to just 100 dollars!

'It was beautiful while it lasted.' Sometimes that’s all there is to say. And all there needs to be.

My haul from Oxford! It’s a heaven for book lovers; so many oddball books that are impossible to find in mainstream stores.

I hadn't read a book in it's entirety for a few years. At least any book that I truly enjoyed. Reading is now one of my favorite things.... love it.

They didn’t have billions. Just scrap metal, a smartphone, and a sky full of ambition. At just 21, Snehadeep Kumar (West Bengal) and Mohit Kumar Nayak (Odisha) are building India’s first student-led CubeSat — a tiny, modular satellite that detects gamma rays from black holes and cosmic explosions. While most space missions run on massive budgets, Nebula Space Organisation's project runs on: > ₹700 local metal (instead of ₹1.5 crore aerospace parts) > A smartphone app for satellite control > Open-source learning and pure grit They also plan to retrieve and recycle their satellite using solar energy and Earth’s trajectory, ensuring no space junk is left behind. “We want to make space research affordable and available for students and developing countries,” says Mohit. After two years of intense R&D, their prototype is ready. The dream is to launch the satellite by the end of 2025. They’ve pitched at the International Astronautical Congress 2024 in Milan and are now in talks with investors. From hostel brainstorming sessions to the world’s biggest space stage, they’re rewriting the rules of innovation. Because space isn’t just for billionaires — it’s for believers.
