I treat working out the same way I treat sleeping. I don't negotiate it, I don't skip it, it's just part of the day. the only difference? skip sleep for 3 days and you're dead. skip the gym for years and you're also dying, just slower. non-negotiable either way.

AI can help you ship code 10x faster. But speed is just one piece. Understanding the problem, aligning on the vision, navigating tradeoffs, mentoring teammates — that's still human work. The fastest codebase built by one person still loses to a team that truly moves together. 🤝

Because I'm a father and days are busy, I usually crunch AI deep dives in waves. 2-3 weeks where I build a lot and 2-3 weeks less involved. I allow AI companies to implement new functionalities during my time of less involvement so when Im back it is quite interesting. Also allow them to retire less-interesting features. I know it is not ideal, but works for me.

Agent view is the best Claude Code native way to manage multiple sessions, kind of like tmux built for CC. We spent a lot of time getting the details right, I hope you enjoy it.

The fact that Claude suggest "Manage workplace stress" in the first occurrence reminds me how lucky I am to have decided to go full remote. I used to have huge amount of workplace stress and I don't think it did fit my personality to be around people all day.

Back to work after 1.5 week. Had a good rest and time to rethink some projects and ideas. Came back with one thing in mind: focus.

Decided to re-arrange my workspace. Thanks to ChatGPT and Gemini for suggestions. I mostly needed to remove unnecessary stuff and declutter a bit 🤏
