@joecarlsonshow Hi Joseph. Being and Indian I can guarantee you that this will be a big move for Netflix. Subcontinent loves WWE. Netflix is working hard to be the leader in streaming in subcontinent. Huge potential there but the dyamics are not same as USA or other english speaking countries

I don’t view the WWE as “live sports”. It’s scripted entertainment fighting. I view it more in the category of standup comedy than live sports (which Netflix already has had live standup comedy). Live sports would be unscripted competitive sports. Netflix has not moved into that category yet because it’s too expensive for the return. I don’t watch WWE but from what I read it has a massive and loyal following with one of the most consistently high viewership draws. But I’m happy if it increases the breath of content for Netflix customers while bringing on new subscribers.
