Completely understand the other side to the argument too. There's a HUGE amount of unresolved anger within the F1 community (me included) and Merc will not lie down till something is changed/fixed. I just don't think Lewis becoming 8 time WDC in a court would be a good look.

Not surprised that Merc withdrew their appeal. It was definitely the right thing to do for the good of the sport, dragging this amazing 2021 season through a court room would've done nobody any favours. Now it's time to fix the loopholes and grey areas in the sport we all love.

You hold them accountable by appealing, not by allowing their decision to stand! UGH, the cognitive dissonance!
