The stock market is pricing in two completely different stories about Circle and nobody seems to care Let me be real about something bulls don't talk about. Circle makes money because interest rates are high right now. When the Fed cuts rates, the Treasury reserves backing USDC earn less, and Circle's main revenue stream shrinks. That's just math. They know this. That's why they're expanding transaction fees, enterprise services, all the stuff that works regardless of what Powell does. But those revenue streams are tiny compared to reserve income right now. One thesis says USDC is becoming actual payment infrastructure. Regulated, transparent, embedded in traditional finance in ways that stick. The data supports this. Volume is real. Institutional adoption is real. Druckenmiller gets it. Macquarie called stablecoins foundational global infrastructure. If this is right, Circle is cheap at any rate environment because the addressable market is literally the entire global payments system. The other thesis says Circle is just a leveraged bet on higher-for-longer rates. The stock has priced in a world where the Fed never cuts again. If this is what's driving the price, every rate cut is a direct hit to earnings and the stock is way ahead of itself. Both are priced in right now. The war has made it impossible to tell which one the market actually believes. That's what you need to understand before you touch this thing. Are you buying infrastructure or are you buying a Treasury yield proxy with good marketing? One is a long-term hold. The other falls apart the second Powell pivots. Which one do you think it is?
