And instead of sympathy, her own fandom celebrated it.
She responded with "ehh, who cares?" - not because she didn't care, but because she was already broken.

@Bludspeth @Lowcowkilla If you take letters from his hit list and compare them to the writing on his house in photoshop you can see how eerily similar a lot of letters are. He could of done it all for sympathy since everyone knows of his crimes and wants a break from the “hate”

When I saw this scene it finally hit me - Homelander was the bad guy. This man who I had spent five years idolizing was actually not a hero at all. He would even engage in homosexual activity to save his own life which is the worst thing a man can do
