@Christo62628594 you're living the new world order shift in real time. the purpose of the epstein thing is to build up power that can be torn down. as it has been for 800 years. its more about post-industrialism that any one person. Focus on the actors, miss the message.

I'll put it this way. If we don't act now, what comes next will make the COVID checks look link chump change. I would much rather companies leveraging AI to improve margins act responsibly than tax dollars have to clean up some of the mess. Even if my stock portfolio benefits

@_kas_t_ I am ok with that as it at least provides some sort of plan. What I am not ok with is no plan at all.

@defiantvc Unfortunately, they will gladly pay those taxes.

I'm going to sound the alarm on something. And this far beyond what I would normally recommend, but we are straight up starring into the abyss. The US government has 3 to 6 months max to put regulations in place that tie AI related layoffs to future corporate taxes.

@StewrighSteve It is that gap between offsetting humans and creating new value that leads to this grave risk to our economy. Without AI reaching new efficiencies that make taxing corporations to the effect of human units lost, we have a nasty gap to fill.

@StewrighSteve Current assessment of most of the industry experts, the thing they say in private is productivity from 40-50% of white collar workers can be absorbed by AI in the next year to two years. The constraint is going to be on the expansion of productivity that creates new yield.

A guy like me will be just fine. In fact, it I would probably double or triple new worth when this happened. But for millions, this will break them.

When high earners suddenly are no longer reliable consumers, everything suffers. So, we need an off ramp quickly. Ideally something that limits workforce reduction to 7% annually. This would make corporations prioritize pairing AI with workers vs. just replacing the worker.

@MoonDog52707023 Only a relisting or changing of ticker, or change of the approved float creates the alternate ticker scenario that you are worried about. At-the-market offerings will not do that. So, the 150m share sale is an ATM offering. A reverse split will create these alt tickers like AMC1

@defiantvc I have a question. The 150 million thing A.A. working on. When it takes place, will it mess up options into some bastardized AMC1 or AMC2 or AMC3 type thing??? I want to buy calls with some time on them/ but am nervous without knowing.

@PliskenMGS RS resets algo calendar. Fibonacci scales that ultimately take price into negative prices (an impossibility), get reset as those negative prices become positive ones on the scale.

If an RS happened, and with market cap where it is with 2026-27 movie lineup looking to bring box office back to levels that can sustain AMC Do you not see a similar path as $HYMC took soon after? Smaller float, same demand, fundamentals improved Why would a RS extend the pain?

You probably remember a variation of this chart that I posted a while back.

If a RS were to happen, I would probably sell calls on a majority of my shares for 2028 and like it marinate. More on that if it happens. For now, the risk/reward has never been better on $AMC, as the top trend line of the falling wedge is 3x current price.

If you go back to the first chart, I can see a scenario where that entire thing plays out. That means $0.42 in January 2029. In order for that to play out, the company would execute a new reverse split, resulting in new time and space to wear price down.

The NFL screwed the pro bowl so bad. With two years prior to flag football in the 2028 Olympics, the Pro Bowl would be far more interesting as NFL all stars vs. flag football all stars.
