It has a couple of curious showbiz connections. When 'Carry On' actor Terry Scott (if you're not British, don't ask) was driving back from a gig, didn't realise he had to wait for the gondola, and drove off the end of the roadway.
Safety netting caught him, so he survived.

@PigeonFeatherz I thought I understood it, but I had a wake-up call when I first trained in foreign gyms with mixed sparring. In UK Thai Boxing gyms, I'd only ever sparred with men. In Sweden, I had my first experience sparring a woman. Didn't go well for anyone.

When I first began commercial art after ceramic design all those years ago I did a great deal of food labelling, without a camera these studies were used as reference and were good exercise, like a musician practicing scales.

@Devilligan Every part of Netflix's model is unsustainable. Billions in debt, operating loss of a billion a year, people able to greenlight each earning $10+ million PA for a job that should pay a few hundred K.
No visible route to profitability, so yes, every show needs to be a megahit.
