The key to understanding “Media/Content Fandom Enjoyers” is that they view fiction as a literal transcription of events that took place in the fictional world. There is no such thing as author’s intent, cultural context, narrative and themes, etc. there is just “what happened”.

@CucumbersBob @unclegubsey @MauLer93 To elaborate a bit I didn't really like Angel S4 that much when I went through it originally but people saying it's one of the worst seasons of TV out there don't seem to be considering a lot of the absolute dreck that's come out (in the past few years especially).

@CucumbersBob @unclegubsey @MauLer93 Angel S4 isn't amazing and definitely is a weird payoff to a lot of long running plot points but as an overall season there is still some quality in there with some of the episodes and stuff like Wesley and Faith.

GoT, Stranger Things & The Boys didn't just "end bad" they went to shit way earlier.
The blame hits the final season because once it's out, fans can no longer imagine how it's all going to make sense with later episodes, despite many previous seasons being shit too.

@TaurielofMirk @rihleyfixations To elaborate better to have fewer episodes of good build up for a relationship than 2-3 seasons of anti-build-up. The last 3 seasons aren't very good but I'll give S7 credit for the Sousa stuff cause it's actually well done.

@TaurielofMirk @rihleyfixations Well, when you factor that, plus that he's a descendant of her supposed best friends it makes the whole thing pretty susp (especially when he never apologized for the slavery and then did the creepy VR).
The build up with Sousa was way better with the time they had.

i think daisy coming back to the mcu would ruin her character development… her story was TOLD through AoS, literally the development of her powers and team and she found her family and happiness in the end

i think hive!daisy is not talked about enough… and in general her trauma! she has been through so much, especially grief and it is directly shown she cannot handle it and becomes avoidant because of it
