I cannot believe I am writing this. Vince Zampella, a titan of the video game industry, the co-creator of Call of Duty and co-founder of Respawn Entertainment, not to mention a dear friend, died in a car crash yesterday in Los Angeles.

It’s time to embark on a new journey in a new role.

June marks my last month at Ashborne Games. I’m grateful for the chance to work on a game about Czech legionaries — and to experience what real cold feels like during the trailer recording. I wish the team good luck with the German classic.

Konstantin Kryzhitsky’s paintings recently popped up in my feed, and I’d almost forgotten about them. They’re truly beautiful and were among the main sources of inspiration for designing levels in Last Train Home.

Last Train Home, the game we crafted at @AshborneGames for the past three years, is out. It's not only a game, but also an insight into many times overlooked part of Czech history, and I'm proud I could be part of it.

Srovnání s pokladním v Lidlu je hloupé, ten si přece taky zaslouží férovou mzdu. Ale diskuzi o platech v českých herních studiích, která jinak brečí nad nedostatkem zaměstnanců, tu pojďme otevřít. Slýchám o tom v kuloárech hodně.

@bludr Tak rozdíl v nutné kvalifikaci je celkem neskutečný. A nechápu jak může SW firma najít zaměstnance co bude požadovat plat okolo úrovně průměrné mzdy ..
