These pictures might not mean much to anyone else but they mean the world to me. They are confirmation that there is still hope for the younger generation. This is my 18 year old grandson who has lived with me since he was 5 months old. He graduated 7th in his class in May in a class of 100. He got 2 scholarships, academic and technical. During the summer he made the decision to not go to college and go straight to work. He is a carpenter and loves his job. He works hard and is give out at the end of the day. He gives me money at the end of every week.
Today we were both off of work and he wanted to go shopping with me. The first picture is him going in the bank to deposit his check and the second one is just because.
I know a lot of people disagree with him foregoing college but I don't. He has a level head and big heart and will not be indoctrinated by college professors. He takes pride in the work he does and I know he will be successful in his life.
