If its not clear yet..
People are starting to want to hold, bag work, and believe again.
We came into memecoins in hopes of buying a coin and making so much that you could retire if you wanted to
The main driver of this space should be examples like that, not the 30k topper malicious bundling crowd.
Truly feel like memescope monday was the bottom.
Now we return to normalcy, return to what made this space great, & return to dreaming again.
Long live memes.

i’d rather quit crypto than be sweating over 20k toppers, spending my nerves and energy fighting with devs and people trading with 50 wallets, all just trying to be earlier than me and farm me with all their strength.
i’d rather bet on memes that are surviving for weeks and months in these market conditions, the ones that will reprice so viciously and fast that no one will have time to react.
my average hold time is weeks and months, and literally every time i pulled multiple high six figures and even seven figures, it was from sizing in and holding.
“the market is different now” is the worst excuse. the market is only different for trash coins.

@Jeremybtc You earn ~3-4% less than Index returns but you don’t taxes on gains
It’s like buying munis but with insurance
Also helps with Estate taxes
Totally worth it for some people

A whole life insurance policy for a healthy 30 year old costs $440 a month.
A term life policy with the exact same $500,000 coverage costs $21 a month.
That's a $419 difference every month.
If you bought the term policy and invested that $419 difference into an S&P 500 index fund from age 30 to 65, you'd have over $1.6 million sitting in your account.
And your family is still fully covered the entire time.
Whole life insurance is a scam.

A hard realization hit me over the past few days
I never actually wanted to be a "trader" It’s one of the most exhausting, soul draining spaces I’ve ever been in and deep down I knew that as far back as 2020 when I first got into it the space
The truth is that memecoin trading was never real trading. Making 50k in 30 minutes isn’t a transferable skill to any other market, it doesn’t apply ANYWHERE else
And now that that world has faded, I feel like I’m back at zero. No real skills, just confusion, fog, and no clear idea of where life goes next

@malikonchain Successful advisors actually wanted to hire me in fact because I have the battle scars and experiences that make me insightful as a result of my trading
Something to think about
English

@malikonchain Different game
Managing peoples money has nothing to do with trading
It’s mostly long term positioning, tax optimization, liquidity, estate management, etc.
Trading gives me a better insight into market conditions though and gives me an advantage in the space

@frankdegods The solution here is to unite people into all fomoing the same coin
Price action creates narrative, and green charts make more people bid
Just need a generation PvE coin
But on a different note
What the dog doing tho?

Memecoins aren't dead because of hold times or bundles or any of the million conspiracy theories.
It's the lack of marginal buyers
If a trencher buys 1% of a coin at 100K mc for $1K and the coin somehow goes to 10M
Doesn't matter if the coin cures cancer, 99% of lowcap trenchers will mercilessly unload clips if they're up 6 figs
In order to offset their sells, you need 100k net new buys at 10M
Pair this with nearly no net new buyers in a year, we're out of willing buyers at the higher MC's
Pair that with the fact that dudes are obsessed with buying 3, 4, 5, 10% sub 1M...
Bonding curves are solved
The desire to speculate isn't dead and I'm happy to be proven wrong but until there's a new mechanism, I don't expect ceilings to be broken
