Gets traded from Atlanta to Dallas, to a Mark Cuban shitshow in the early years.
Mark sells the club, the new GM trades Luka a couple of years later.
Then half a year later the Lakers get sold, too.

I’m a pretty laid back human being. I’ve watched my childhood team the Dallas Cowboys rot in mediocrity my entire life and I’ve been disappointed and angry… but I’ve still watched football.
The @dallasmavs trading Luka Doncic actually ruined my love for the game. And I like basketball 100x more than football.

@SloHoopsFan That was a move by the NBA. The plan was that the Lakers gave up the least amount of assets. The nba needs the Lakers competing for championships.
