@Jeriafterdark Not gonna lie most of this is a reach. The jaw is the wrong shape? Be for real. Mtg artists have changed the designs of iconic characters before. They are allowed a bit of artistic freedom. The most convincing argument is the buckle on his left leg and the lighting on the sword

Wizards otC is known to use genAI now, but I had hoped it wouldn't be allowed for a Square Enix collab, especially for someone as iconic as Sephiroth. It's clear the artist used genAI in their workflow, the details are just off. genAI tends to mess up the details (as below).
