All and all, I'm thrilled with how it turned out. It was a huge learning curve and having the trust of my director, Angus MacLane and the support of my team through the process meant more to me than they may know.

I grew up watching Mecha Animes like Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, Evangelion, Eskaflowne... I've always been in awe of the artistry that went into those shows but what those artists do is a whole different way of thinking that I struggled with. Mad respect for all you Mecha artists.

"Lightyear" is officially out in theaters now! Woo! Designing the Zyclops was an exciting challenge. As I've never done anything like this before, I had a lot of guidance from Greg Peltz (who designed Zurg) and Grant Alexander, who deserve much thanks. #Lightyear #characterdesign
