I would keep 20th Century, Searchlight, FX, etc and spin off/sell Disney, LucasFilms, Marvel, whatever. IP doesn't interest me that much, and Disney had always been an established IP brand. What are fairytales after all?

@jenna_payne @TomAandTom1 Making absolutely everything interconnected has made watching everything a slog. I don’t have much interest in watching superhero movies that are 3+ hours long let alone a 6-10 hour tv miniseries. IMO: It’s not a tv show if it’s one season.

@TomAandTom1 You would be a guy I would talk to if for some reason I ended up having a hand in Marvel because I freely admit it is not my thing. I do think stepping away from the universe is wise and what they did themselves in the 90s with the alternate universes pursuing different stories!

I always think of this ep by the incredible @ben_edlund whenever some armchair TV pundit starts complaining about "filler" episodes. Smile Time is what you get when you have enough episodes in a season to take chances and play around. Brilliant!

@realdomevans I haven’t actually recalculated. The $35/hour is based on what I calculated for our monthly expenses BEFORE the pandemic & food costs exploding as much as 200%.

@realdomevans I mean… I could work but in order for us to remain as ridiculously poor as we already are I’d have to earn $35/hour. We’d still be living paycheque to paycheque & use the food bank even if I made that much. 🥴
