Things Russia's ran out of this summer: Gasoline Jet fuel Diesel LPG The ability to ship 30% of its harvest. We're at the stage of the Russian fuel crisis that's akin to Wile E Coyote running off the cliff but still not looking down at his feet.

From July 21st on SPIMEX only end users of fuel will be able to buy gasoline lots put up for auction. It either has to be a retailer like a gas station or a legal entity that is buying the fuel for its own fleet to consume. Trading is essentially banned.

These are incredibly important for Russian industries like metallurgy, chemicals, coal and the Russian defense industrial complex. The shortage of fuel is causing disruptions at factories and at Russian Railways. If they stop operating so does Russian industry.

Krasnoyarsk's regional Krasnoyarsknefteprodukt gas station chain has introduced the sale of gasoline Ai-95 for coupons. Interestingly enough they had said the fuel situation was stable. It seems to not be anymore.

@MingtheMercil15 It's for gas stations with gasoline and only LPG gas stations and gas statins that offer both. But we're talking smaller independent ones.

Russia is so good at self sabotage. In North Ossetia-Alania just as the regional head is trying to negotiate supplies Gazprom Neft to small gas stations the local prosecution is "HELPING" by shutting down over 100 independent gas stations for the smallest violation.

This is a gas station queue in Yakutia, Russia's most populous arctic region. They were supposed to receive fuel at the start of July and should be building up inventory for the next few months to have enough to last the long winter. Instead they have crippling shortages.

@HenryWi86212968 They use both LPG and natural gas. Depends on how far the gas pipeline has gone. Apart from that because of the war Yakutia has stopped providing subsidies for getting connected to the natural gas network.

@delfoo Don't they use natural gas for winter, which hasn't been impacted? or do they rely on LPG and Kerosene for heating?
