“just us and no one else.” she nodded as she wrapped her arm around charlotte. “mack, gray and josie can deal with your sisters for a little.” she chuckled.

“that’s okay, you don’t have to.” she reassured as she looked at charlotte with a small smile. “are you excited for our cruise?” she asked.

“because we see stuff you don’t see.” she pointed out with a shrug and a small smile on her face.

“there’s nothing wrong with different, i promise.” she reassured as she looked at charlotte with her eyebrows furrowed slightly. “well, i am. and i know sadie and josie are too, so maybe that’s enough proud to make up for the fact you’re not.”

“you’re not a weirdo, char. and it’s not like that. it’s just to lower the symptoms you feel. to make you a little calmer.” she explained as she looked at charlotte, leaning against the kitchen counter. “i’m still so proud of you no matter what, you know?”
