@tintafey There’s nothing funny about “Restless Legs”, a chronic and, in my case, lifelong, progressive disease that affects every aspect of your life. Would you name your tour after Cancer or Diabetes? For shame.
@AmericanAir You are the world’s worst airline. I paid, in full, for my First Class tickets in early April. AA thought it acceptable to not honor our First Class tickets and bump us to row 35. And the gate agent was incredibly rude.
@AmericanAir threw us to the wolves. Paid for First Class tickets; we were seated in row 35. They are refunding us a pittance for our troubles. They sold out seats to others and we purchased these two months ago. Not acceptable.
@AmericanAir And you decided that $100 per person was a perfectly acceptable price for my husband and I to be summarily bumped from row 2 to row 35.
And, we had to wait in line at the gate to get our new boarding passes. American Airlines certainly had no problem debiting our credit card
@AmericanAir American Airlines said that our refund was “complete “ . It was a fraction of what we paid for those tickets. We purchased them in early April on two different credit cards.
Now, you are telling us that we have been fully reimbursed for our troubles? That is unacceptable.
@AmericanAir What recommendation are you referring to? The refund site is closed to us, as they gave us a paltry $212. Could we have upgraded to 1st Class for that amount? Of course, not.
@AmericanAir still trying to get a full refund from American. They think $100 a person is just compensation for being bumped from First Class to row 35? If I bought coach tickets, could I have upgraded for that amount? Unlikely
@AmericanAir It is unacceptable on every level. We lost our First Class seats last August due to a flight cancellation. We took another flight in coach and were refunded almost $500.
@AmericanAir still asking for appropriate compensation for being bumped out of First Class on 6/22. We lost our first class tickets last August due to a cancelled flight and were refunded almost $500. Please make us whole.
@AmericanAir the airline still will not compensate us for bumping us from First Class to row 36 on AA2215 on 6/22. If I hear one more time that they have already given me a refund (a paltry $106 person), I am going to scream. We can’t get an upgrade for that amount.
@AmericanAir
Do you think if I asked to be upgraded from row 35 to row 2 (where our initial First Class seat assignments were) that we would have to pay $100 per seat? I doubt it.
@AmericanAir
Whatever you do, do NOT buy First Class tickets on American Airlines. They do not honor them. We purchased tickets in early April and were denied our First Class seats when we boarded.
Our refund for our trouble:
$100 per person.
@AmericanAir It is UNACCEPTABLE. We paid with 2 credit cards and you refunded us the smaller amount we charged. $212 is not cutting it. We paid $2424 for our tickets. We would like at least $500 all told.
