mayhem requiem is definitely a tease of the album's concept/sound too. i expect her most dense, atmospheric, ambient, dark and dirty production at the same time. i fear we are not ready for this.

i think the album will be an avant-garde / art pop album with heavy electronic experimentation, weird and complex production. lots of vocoder use, similar to mayhem requiem, noisy sounds with soft or guttural vocals (depending on the vibe of the track)

i think lg8 will be about evolution reinvention disintegration and deconstruction. i believe this photoshoot for RS last year is a hint about the album's concept. perhaps the aesthetic will be based on hybrids, a humanoid fusion between birds and humans (look at her fingers)

all this debate on the timeline about gaga "not innovating" and "not taking risks" is going to age very poorly when lg8 comes out... every time some fallacious cycle about her career starts, she finds a way to shut up right after
