@Jasonugget101 @Mageba_wav Please don't tell me you think the guards run the jails. They go home at night, have family and 401k. A lifer has nothing and never leaves. In the use of violence, a guard gets investigated, but a lifer just stays in prison. Its easier for the inmates to use violence.

My friends in America, in Japan, expressing patriotism is met with shunning. For example, if I put a Japanese flag sticker on my car, police officers will stop me for questioning. I only display the flag at my front door on Japanese holidays. Almost no one displays the flag at their home on weekdays. This is due to the past excessive claims made by the Japanese right wing, but don't you think it's natural to show patriotism to the country you were born in?

@martytaka777 I think having grassroots exchanges will help everyone, most pointedly in national interests. Wars happen when we can paint "them" as bad and "us" as good, without any of "us" knowing who "they" are. Korea was one country, now they don't talk.
