LMAOOO, the only thing better than Colin Jost as Pete Hegseth is Aziz Ansari joining him as Kash Patel: "We dotted every T and BULGED every eye!" 😂😂😂😂

There is absolutely no occasion @realDonaldTrump won't seize as an opportunity to fulminate & divide. He cheers the death of poltical opponents & seizes on the critical illness of an ally--a friend--to attack his foes. But not one word of "get well." Didn't occur to him.

Tapper plays Jeanine Pirro a clip of Tucker Carlson recently suggesting Trump is the antichrist, and asks her if she thinks that language is as incendiary as James Comey's seashells

Imagine being president of the United States, yet so easily triggered. It’s gotta be miserable for him. He always feels like a failure even when he won’t the presidency. His dad did a number on him. He’s still a little boy. It would be heartbreaking if he wasn’t damaging the country

Not even kidding when I say that Aziz Ansari doing that ruthless SNL impersonation of Kash Patel may be the actual tipping point for Trump to fire him.

FIONA HILL: Massive weakness of Trump that Russia exploits is that Putin knows Trump himself is very prone to conspiracy theories. Putin knows that Trump lives in a world of memes and tropes on Truth Social, and he will take on board almost anything that is fed to him. When I was in Trump’s first administration, Trump would sometimes pick up on things, and you’d realize, “This is Russian propaganda.” That’s actually what I said during first impeachment. Russians are just amplifying all of this because they know Trump will believe it.

NBC corners Todd Blanche by showing dozens of 8647 seashell shirts sold on Amazon. Blanche scrambles to explain why ordinary citizens selling this are fine, but a Trump critic faces prison. The White House runs a two-tiered justice system for political revenge.

You will not find a better snapshot of Tucker Carlson's dishonesty and moral depravity than this. You can quote his own words back to him, and he will look you in the eye and say, "I never said that." It's part duplicity, part attempting to credibility face with MAGA, which is why Tucker is also back to claiming that Trump has no agency but is instead a victim of manipulation. In other words, "I did not lie to my audience; Trump has been led astray. You can always trust me." Whether Tucker runs for president or endorses JD Vance in 2028, he is a singularly malignant force in the public discussion, someone who has absolutely no compunction about lying to your face while telling you that lies are the worst thing imaginable.

Tucker claims the words "could this be the antichrist?" never left his lips. NYT shows a clip of him saying exactly that:

Good lord. Assuming there are no more attacks by the US, and Trump seems dead set opposed to resuming them, this is nothing short of a failure. Yes Iran has fewer weapons now. So do we. Their regime is still in place and the nuke material hasn’t moved. The spin from the administration is offensive in how blatantly false it is. He went into this without the determination to win

“Unprecedented destruction” Majority of U.S. military sites in the Middle East damaged by Iran, CNN investigation reveals. Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth desperately tried to keep the extent of the damage from the public so people wouldn’t see how badly this was botched. Now the images are coming out and they’re disturbing.

I listened to the NYT interview of Tucker Carlson, and here is what I learned: • He’s a demagogue. He doesn’t actually answer questions. He demagogues and deflects and gaslights and uses whataboutisms. Even when caught lying about his own words. * He is very similar to JD Vance, in that he is a chameleon who changes his stripes and opinions to match what he wants to be at a given point of time. He has few true beliefs or center. * He is a racist, misogynist and anti-Semite. The interviewer missed an opportunity to press him on his so-called differences between the races and genders. That is the true north of who this man is. * These are two hours of my life I will not get back and hopefully I just saved you the time. You will learn little other than he has become skilled at interviews after decades of practice. He is a dangerous man!

This NYT interview is good. Tucker is insane. Getting him to sit there with the paper of record and talk about his worldview filled with supernatural forces focuses everyone on how deranged he is. He says this stuff all the time, but it’s now an official NYT interview.
Ally@AllyJKiss

Tucker tells the NYT that President Trump puts a literal “spell” on people to “weaken them and make them compliant” and it might be “supernatural.” 🤡

Aziz Ansari just appeared as Kash Patel on SNL, and they went innnnn on him "I'm a trailblazer. I'm the first Indian person to suck at their job. Everyone says Indian people are smart, hardworking, incredibly intelligent. I prove without a shadow of a doubt that we can be just as incapable and incompetent as the whites."

What an amazing clip. This is the essence of Tuckerism. NYT asks him why he called Trump the Antichrist. He says he never said it. NYT shows a clip. Tucker says he doesn’t know what the Antichrist is. Jesus Christ. What a snivelling coward.

Here’s the cold truth about how you beat Donald Trump. 👇🏼 You put up a mediocre candidate. A mediocre Democratic candidate beat a sitting president. Trump’s entire rise was powered by two weak opponents: Hillary Clinton & Kamala Harris. We have to look at that objectively and now comes the interesting part. The Republican Party is heading for an intellectual civil war. Because the MAGA movement is a personality cult — and the personality is leaving. Nobody else in that party can carry that mantle the way Trump can. Now we’re in an ideological fight for the future of the party. And remember — he has never cracked 50% approval. He’s beatable. He was always beatable. The question now is what comes next.
