Star bird(s) today for me at #CarltonMarshes #Suffolk was not just one but two #GrasshopperWarblers chasing each other through the reeds by the path but incredibly difficult to see let alone photograph, extreme patience payed off with a few photos blurred by reeds

@Liamdaly620 The first photo is probably mostly invasive species, but at least it's alive.

What a lot of people still don't understand - and need to, ASAP - is that we humans are the biggest source of uncertainty in determining the magnitude future change. We are the problem. But that means we can be the solution, too.
David Wallace-Wells@dwallacewells

“On current trends, the probability of staying below 2 °C of warming is only 5%, but if all countries meet their nationally determined contributions and continue to reduce emissions at the same rate after 2030, it rises to 26%.” nature.com/articles/s4324…

I finally caught up with him...🙂🌼💙 Got scratched with thorns, ran through high grass, almost lost my life tripping on a rock, but I found him!🖤

1) Did you knit there are multiple ways to report banded birds, but the best way to make sure the data gets back to the researcher is to use this site: reportband.gov

I'm up to 80 species so far for #2021WSB despite the birding feeling really slow. Highlights for me include Red-breasted Nuthatch (late for this date), White-eyed Vireo (hard to find in this county), and a sweep of the local swallow species.

#ShowMeTheHoney ! The European Honey Buzzard migration continues here in The #Straits of #Gibraltar - joined by ever-increasing numbers of Black Kites, Booted and Short-toed Eagles. Also getting in on the action were 3 Black Stork and an Atlas Long-legged Buzzard (or hybrid).
