Getting really honest with ourselves sometimes looks (to others) like we’re taking steps backwards because we’re no longer performing that which is socially rewarded, but inauthentic. This is actually an incredibly important middle step.

This morning, I was reminded that the reason I "woek up" my social media accounts recently was to (among other things) promote my #artwork/creativity. The first response I got was someone (scammer) on #Etsy wanting to "buy my store name for $700." ::Sigh::
