As Co-Chairs of the Bali Process, Australia and Indonesia are working together to strengthen the region’s resilience to combat people smuggling, human trafficking and transnational crime, including online scam operations. I met @dennyabdi in Jakarta to discuss this critical work.

Jelang 100 tahun Jam Gadang Bukit Tinggi 3-7 Juni 2026, IKA UNAND akan berkolaborasi dengan Pemkot Bukit Tinggi untuk mensukseskan kegiatan 100 tahun Jam Gadang. Ikon kota Bukit Tinggi ini dibangun pada tahun 1926-1927 oleh arsitek Yazan Rajo Mangkuto sebagai hadiah dari Ratu Belanda kepada Sekretaris Kota HR Rookmaaker. Uniknya, bangunan ini dibangun tanpa besi penyangga dan campuran semennya menggunakan putih telur. Mesin jam didatangkan dari Jerman (dibuat oleh Benhard Fordman) dan dilaporkan hanya ada dua di dunia: satu di Jam Gadang, satu lagi pada Big Ben di London.
