Call me a dreamer, but it would be nice if the state stopped murdering people in broad daylight.

@adam__xyz @relvingonzalez Yeah. It’s just that easy. 🙄 I find it strange that you ignore other, more poplar podcasters, who are married and have children, in order to build a tidy little straw man.

Strange that the three podcast princes (Ferriss, Huberman, Friedman) who millions of young men turn to for advice on how to live and think are all single and childless, past the age of 40.

@SMedithe21912 @PastorDeberny I’ve read it, don’t worry. I just choose not to believe the wild, baseless claims of ancient books that have an unknown provenance. And you shouldn’t either.

@deppisch @PastorDeberny That might be you understanding. But the bible says something else. Consider reading it to know why it says so. Trust me, it's not for a bad reason. We need right eyes to see the truth.

@therealarkangl @PastorDeberny If you’re used to attributing divinity to everything you see around you, you’ll believe in the divine. But that belief is rooted in ignorance, not knowledge. Faith doesn’t gain us knowledge—it just allows us to believe in things without good reason, while encouraging ignorance.

@therealarkangl @PastorDeberny How do wolves, chimpanzees, and other pack animals have systems of hierarchy and proto-morality without instruction? Simple: groups that get along thrive and are more likely to pass along their genes. Our early history is very much the same.

@therealarkangl @PastorDeberny They’re only “baked in” because of human and societal evolution. Human civilizations had systems of morality and justice for millennia before the first writings of the OT were codified. Religion simply added a supernatural element to our extant evolutionary moral understanding.

@therealarkangl @PastorDeberny It’s funny how the Stoics and other schools of philosophy had many of these same values in practice long before Christianity came about. There’s nothing novel about Christ’s teachings—they were just marketed more successfully.

@DidierReibmac Ever consider that it’s all just bullshit distraction and nothing really changes no matter who we elect because they don’t actually control anything? And we get mad at each other, playing right into the plan—to ignore those who control us.

True, but then you can also say it is always the same pattern with Kamala: She comes from a middle class family, she would not do anything different then Biden. It is all Trumps fault. Somewhere in the bible there is a line: "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?" Lets just say you have to chose between the pest and cholera...

@DidierReibmac But logic would dictate that he’s just a bad judge of character, a terrible boss, and a bad leader. He’s an overgrown child who was never told no and surrounds himself only with sycophants. I didn’t vote for either one of these clowns, but he’s certainly wearing the bigger shoes.

Well, to be honest, if they fail at their job, why would you keep them or pat their back? We all know Trump has his strange, sometimes 'rude' way of explaining things, and yes, he is a fraud. Kamala has her problems too: she has her 'word salad', and she does not have an opinion about anything except that Trump is bad. People are scared it would be just a continuation of the mess she made with Biden the last 3-4 years. Yes, I would like to see a female as the leader (Italy is doing well with Meloni). But not Kamala... The only thing she ever does is blame Trump for her and Biden's mess without offering any solution. So yes, I chose the old conman, the fraud with the big mouth, to talk to other world leaders who are also old conmen and frauds.
