67 days clean of alcohol and cannabis. I have been having intense cravings for a week. Negotiating with myself every single day. Last night I finally caved and bought a bag of weed. Set it all up. Told myself I would smoke it at 1am when the world was asleep and nobody would know. Instead I went to an AA meeting and told a room full of strangers what I was about to do. At 1am I stood over the toilet and flushed it. I am shaking and I am crying and I am 67 days sober and I have never felt more alive in my entire life.
