I think that the work that FaZe does for charities, their vocal support for Palestine and speaking out publicly against ICE is great. All in all, I think they're probably better role models for young men than what I've seen in the past... though the bar is on the fucking floor 😭 I don't think that they are "Hitler incarnate"... I think that there is definitely a spectrum and while they aren't on the far-end of the spectrum, they aren't at a point where LGBTQ+ /women centric spaces want to mesh with theirs. There is a way that you have to carry yourself in "boy's club" type spaces like FaZe's when you're a woman or queer person if you want to be liked and accepted. You also have to put up with a lot of "jokes" that are made at your expense. Trying to help some of these FaZe children understand... It's not even that we think you're some inherently evil bigoted monolith, it's that we don't want your brand of "humor" in our spaces. We don't want to be put in a position where we have to pretend that casually making gay jokes at the expense of gay people is... funny. That frat boy gamerbro humor just does not resonate with the LGBTQ+ and women. I think it's completely fair to just stay in our lanes. QtCinderella coming into a largely queer centered space and trying to rationalize normie-bro culture just didn't go over well... just like how a far-left queer person going into your gamerbro space to try to impose gender theory, queer liberation theory and intersectional-feminism probably wouldn't go over well. We don't think you're all inherently evil Hitler incarnates (though some of the FaZe community reply guys are extremely fucked up)... just not every space on the internet needs to be a space for men to feel comfortable making jokes at the expense of the marginalized where the people affected by it have to just pretend that it's fine and rationalize the behavior. Anyway, I hope this helps!!!
