The toughest part of dealing with those depression is those tough days when you have to put on a fake smile and pretend everything is ok.

Question I often get asked is “how can I get drafted if I play at a smaller D1 school or outside of D1”, I say you have to show you can compete against those top tier talent and if that means going to Indy ball to do so there is no shame in that. Not everyone in the majors made it through the draft.

Parents should allow their young children to just enjoy playing baseball and not compare them to the other children and think their child can make it to the MLB at such a young age.

You owe it to yourself to be the best you can possibly be. This is true and Baseball and in Life.

Always remember that joy is the infallible proof of the presence of God. You never walk alone, God always walks by your side.
