Does anyone these days convey the pure pleasure of song and dance more exultantly than Jonathan Groff? Or so make sure that the audience shares in the joy? Just saw "Just in Time," and JG is now officially the soul of Broadway incarnate. Nifty work by director Alex Timbers, too.

Hey @derekmclane you are a MASTER at your craft!!!! What you did with the set of Death Becomes Her deserves so much praise. Down to the tiniest detail, wow wow wow!!!

Remember why NYC is the greatest city in the world? Went to see a Broadway show, Death Becomes Her. Full house, not even a hot ticket but it’s buzzing in January. Everything is 10/10: acting, dancing, @derekmclane’s gorgeous set. It’s pure entertainment (not preachy) but also top quality, just a show that wants to please the audience and succeeds. At intermission, they announce the wonderful star is being replaced by the understudy. We’re all like “what” but then this girl steps in from the ensemble and doesn’t miss 👏 a 👏 beat. Everyone is a star here. America, fuck yea.
