Tonight, I worked to expose exactly who the BIG 5 cartel is. I am not prepared to allow this committee to conclude its investigation without naming and confronting the thugs who are destroying our communities. South Africans deserve the full truth! Thank you, Lt Gen Mkhwanazi! #AdHocCommittee

Today I went undercover with my floppy hat to Umhlanga Post Office. They have not had electricity for two years (account not paid), no forms, no computers, no internet or wireless, and can only collect cash money. Quite bizarre and sad to witness another failed state entity.

Indeed a MOTHER CITY! I firmly believe the mothers of the Cape Flats have what it takes to drive real change in their communities. Our mission is to equip them with the tools and knowledge so they can stand on their own and lead. For too long, their vulnerability has left them dependent on political parties that show up with a T-shirt and a bucket of KFC, expecting votes in return. Don’t hand over your vote until you’ve seen a real plan. When I arrived today I was met with gunshots, only to learn that the father of a girl at our meeting had just been shot and killed. My condolences to the family. Thank you to the Mitchell’s Plain moms for inviting me today. I’ll be back with feedback on the challenges you raised - from pensioners supporting children battling addiction and abuse, to the city’s unaffordable rates and taxes. #sokanditnieaangaannie #HuisbesoekmetActionSA

The High Court has confirmed it…..the DA-led City of Cape Town’s fixed tariffs are unlawful and invalid🚫 Residents cannot be forced to pay for poor decisions that will only make Cape Town more unaffordable. The City should accept the judgment, stop wasting public money on appeals, and urgently fix its tariff structures to deliver real relief to residents under pressure!

Action SA leader Herman Mashaba, says today’s “March and March” protest is aimed at pressuring government to act against illegal immigration. Mashaba emphasised that the march is not directed at foreign nationals who are legally in South Africa, but rather the undocumented. He added that government has been urged for years to address the issue, stating that “enough is enough.” ActionSA members joined the protest as demonstrators made their way toward the Gauteng Legislature in the Johannesburg CBD.
