YouTuber’s subscriber number tricks them into thinking they should expect a certain number of views from that. The actual thing they should do is EXPECT nothing. Subscriber have almost no impact on your view floor or view ceiling as a creator. I logged into 4 different accounts from my clients and MOST of their views and watch time are all from NON SUBSCRIBERS… by as much as 80% And these are channels getting millions of views per month. Your videos perform on their own merit. Having subscribers gives you no real built in advantage. The ADVANTAGE is that if you earned those subscribers, you have experience and data and possibly some people will recognize and prioritize your content. Even notification are less than 1% of your views on average, so even that is NOT some unfair advantage. It’s also why there are smaller channels that get more views than larger channels. Make content that is in DEMAND. The bigger channel or best video doesn’t always win. What matters is what viewers want to watch. Not subscribers, not notifications, not view to sub ratio. People either want to watch something or they don’t. Period.

When did being new to the sneaker game start coming with instant authority? I’ve seen new people in the past year talking like they built this culture or know all the ends and out. Experience matters, right? Or does that not count anymore?
