Okay, listen. If you're going to fetch in useEffect(...), you should at least make sure that you're handling: - Loading states - Error handling (rejections & HTTP error codes) - Race conditions & cancellation This isn't over-engineering. It's the minimum code to prevent bugs.

@UpTheIrons1978 Already not really using sass anymore. The only thing that's missing in CSS is using something like custom properties for media queries.

With CSS nestings coming in all browsers (probably late August or begin of September) are you still going to use Sass/Less or similar ? Or are you going full Vanilla CSS ?

@_juliaschramm Kommt drauf an. Wenn du im Büro sitzt, evtl in einem Videochat, kannst du problemlos die WhatsApp App auf dem PC bedienen, aber ständig Sprachnachrichten anhören ist eher suboptimal.

@neongelbgruen @DHLPaket Haha, wie die echten Supportmitarbeiter am Telefon. 1,5 Stunden in der Warteschleife, mittlerweile auf dem Heimweg von der Arbeit, endlich geht jemand ran, Support sagt "ich empfinde es als unhöflich dass sie aus der Bahn anrufen mit den Nebengeräuschen" - und legt direkt auf.

@OlbrichSandra Oh man. Erinnert mich an meinen letzten Flug aus London, Familie mit Baby hatte Autositz als Gepäck aufgegeben der nicht mit kam und Airline machte nix außer "sie können ein Formular ausfüllen". Wir kamen um 23:00 Uhr an, da konnte man auch keinen mehr irgendwo ausleihen.

Auf dem Flug von #DENAirport nach #Airport_FRA mit #Lufthansa ist mein Rollstuhl (trotz delivery at aircraft plus priority) in Denver geblieben. Crew beteuerte an Tür, dass Stuhl verladen würde… Kann jetzt das Haus nicht mehr verlassen, bis der Rollstuhl kommt. #Diskriminierung

@idavinder Yes, with a custom FSE theme. The wideWidth property in theme.json was not recognized anymore after update to 6.0 Not sure what exactly went wrong, had not time to investigate, downgraded temporarily.

@richtabor Not out of date Documentation. Better capabilities integration, who can edit which areas, who can insert which blocks, etc. Advanced permission management was already hard but now it's even harder.

@jasonbahl Content types. I would split them into unstructured content types wich make use of the block editor and unstructured content types wich are custom fields only.

WordPressers: If WP were created today, what would you call Post Types? Public Post Types feel like maybe they could be called “Content Types”, but private post types are used so differently from things like contact forms / redirects / oembed_cache / customizer_changests, etc

@felixarntz Was 100% happy with my p30 pro from 2019. But then it stopped reading my simcard recently. Neither replacing sim reader nor software reset helped. I was so frustrated when I was forced to spend money for a new phone. It is such a waste not being able to repair the phone.

Have you been using your same phone for let's say over 3 years and are still happy? If so, please let me know. I may very well buy that one next.

I know I shouldn't tweet when frustrated, but what has happened to technology? I don't want to buy into this thing that you should buy the new phone every other year or so, but looks like I'm forced into it since phones don't last much longer anymore.
