If you want to increase your @Framer Affiliate revenue, I want to share a strategy I’ve recently discovered 👇 From now on, I’m planning to make all my premium landing page templates fully paid. But my CMS-based templates will always remain free. By CMS, I mean templates where most of the system runs through CMS. For example: video platforms, news sites, blog infrastructures, etc. So why this strategy? Because while affiliate revenue is a great model, your income is limited unless you have a truly popular product. Compared to paid products, the upside is lower. Let me explain with my own data: - I currently have 7 templates - I make around ~$1,000/month from affiliate revenue - About $500 of that comes from landing page templates But here’s the interesting part: My landing page templates have been remixed thousands of times, yet the conversion rate is quite low. On the other hand: 👉 A CMS template making just 3–4 sales per month 👉 Earns more than a landing page template with 20 sales So: - Fewer remixes - But significantly higher revenue The reason is simple: CMS-based templates are usually used with higher-tier paid plans. The reality is: Unless your template gets featured on Framer’s homepage or becomes one of the popular templates, it’s very hard to make tens of thousands of dollars purely from affiliate revenue. That’s why the focus needs to shift: 👉 Target high-conversion niches 👉 Build templates that solve real problems 👉 Stop asking “How many people use this?” and start asking “Are users willing to pay?” I’m moving forward with this strategy and will keep sharing what I learn along the way.
